Goat’s Milk

Goat’s milk is a gentle cleanser that does not strip the natural moisture from the skin. It has a PH level that is close to that of the skin, which helps restore the lost moisture. It is packed with minerals and vitamins. It is a good source of Selenium, a mineral that helps improve your skin’s cell membrane. The lactic acid in goat’s milk gently exfoliates which can be anti-aging.

Charcoal

Charcoal is an exfoliant, cleanser and fights cellulite and body odor. It draws out bacteria, poisons, chemicals, and dirt.

Olive Oil

Olive oil is an antioxidant that protects skin from UV damage. It moisturizes without clogging pores. Contains Vitamins A & E which protect from free radicals and repairs cells. It exfoliates by going deep into pores to remove dead skin cells and blackheads. It can treat and prevent acne by removing excess oil. It can slow down aging, clear complexion, and maintain elasticity.

Coconut Oil

Cold pressed organic coconut oil is a natural moisturizer that heals wounds, reduces rashes, and prevents acne. It’s antimicrobial and antibacterial properties moisturize without clogging pores or making skin oily. It has proven to be an excellent treatment for eczema.

Sweet Almond Oil

Sweet almond oil is a natural moisturizer that is good for acne and slows aging because it won’t clog pores, cleans down deep, soothes dryness, reduces inflammation, removes makeup, slows aging, may prevent stretch marks, reduces dark circles and purifies under eyes.  It is also a natural emollient good for hair.

Rice Bran Oil

Rice Bran Oil is known for its ability to cleanse, soften, moisturize, soothe, nourish, and smooth the skin.  It contains vitamins B & E.  Rice bran oil contains ferulic acids and gamma-oryzanol that inhibit melanin and promote skin turnover.  Used topically, it improves circulation, evens out skin tone, and minimizes the appearance of dark circles and puffiness around the eye area.

Avocado Oil

Avocado oil is a moisturizer that is easily absorbed and promotes formation of new skin cells.  The beta carotene, protein, lecithin, fatty acids, and vitamins A, D, and E found in avocado oil help moisturize and protect your skin from damaging UV rays and increase collagen metabolism.  The antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents in avocado oil help your skin stay smooth, strong, and elastic.  It relieves inflammation from eczema and psoriasis.  Using avocado oil can also improve scalp health i.e. reduce dandruff.

Sunflower Oil

Sunflower oil is a non-comedogenic carrier oil which is highly absorbent and won’t clog pores. It’s non-irritating for most people, and can be used on all types of skin, including dry, normal, oily, and acne-prone.  It contains several compounds that have benefits for skin including oleic acid, vitamin E, sesamol and linoleic acid.  Vitamin E is an antioxidant that can help protect skin from free radicals and from adverse effects of the sun, such as premature aging and wrinkles. Using a skincare product formulated with sunflower oil is a good way to obtain vitamin E’s benefits for skin.

Palm Oil

Palm oil is an antioxidant which is good for skin as it can reduce the activities of free radicals and reduce the signs of aging.  It naturally contains a sunscreen with SPF 15 as well as vitamin E, A and carotenes.  Palm oil removes impurities from skin and hair.

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is a humectant ingredient. This means that it works to attract water to the top layer of the skin, helping to keep the skin hydrated and remedy sunburn or chapped skin. It penetrates well because of its similarity to skin’s moisture.  It can prevent bacterial infections, acne, and dandruff from forming.  Jojoba oil is antibacterial, antifungal, antiviral, analgesic and anti-inflammatory.  It contains vitamin A, E, and D, antioxidants and fatty acids. 

Hemp Oil

Hemp oil is perfect for most skin types as it can moisturize without clogging your pores. It can even help to balance out oily skin, hydrating it and regulating the skin’s oil production.  Dryness can also cause your skin to overproduce oil, which in turn, can stimulate acne. Hemp oil can prevent dry skin without clogging pores. This helps reduce acne that’s caused by excess oil.  One of the omega-6 fatty acids that hemp oil contains is gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), which acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory while simultaneously encouraging skin growth and new cell generation.  This can help to calm inflammation and irritation on the skin, including acne and some conditions like psoriasis, while keeping the skin nourished and moisturized.  In addition to moisturizing and soothing the skin, hemp oil has anti-aging properties. Hemp oil can help reduce fine lines and wrinkles as well as prevent signs of aging from developing.

Shea Butter

Shea butter works as an emollient that softens and hydrates skin. Because it contains several types of fatty acids — including lineoleic, oleic, palmitic and stearic acids — that improve the skin's natural barrier, shea butter also protects skin from damage from the environment like pollutants.  Shea butter includes healthful elements such as vitamin A and E. It has anti-inflammatory compounds, which make it a perfect fit to soothe and nourish upset skin.  This ingredient is also often found in scar-healing products, because its rich fatty-acid levels help to soften scar tissue and may speed up the scar-healing process.

 

Poppy Seed

It may also be helpful to people experiencing back pain or those recovering from a joint or muscle injury.  It is often used to remedy osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Rosemary

Rosemary Oil’s antiseptic properties are beneficial to skin conditions such as eczema.  Massaging Rosemary Oil regularly on affected skin helps eliminate flaking and dryness.   Rosemary is highly regarded in eye creams because of its ability to increase blood flow. Lavender

Strawberry

Strawberries contain alpha hydroxy acids, which help to eliminate dead skin cells and cleanse the skin.
